The Back Home Garden first came to light during the Corona Viris Quarantine of 2020. With toilet paper depleted and our staple veggies out of stock, we needed a backup plan, one that would help us even after the storm has calmed. We plan to grow and expand our little backyard garden into a small urban farm using all organic gardening.
Our goal is to be self-sustaining and to encourage others to see how easy some small steps to helping the planet. From kitchen composts to indoor herbs: we want to help and inspire!
Meet Dave

Dave is a commercial cannabis grower in Arizona with experience in starting and running an Arizona state-licensed cannabis cultivation. He has knowledge in super soils, propagation, vegetation, plant training, super cropping feeding, pest/mold control, scheduling, inventory, packaging, and anything else needed in a cannabis grow.
What does this mean for a Quarantine Vegetable Garden? With Dave’s 20+ years of growing experience, it means we have amended soil in a desert with a vast understanding of plant behaviors and its life cycles.
Meet Shelly

Shelly is a nature lover. She enjoys taking care of plants from vegetables to house plants to cannabis. For her, this is her first year gardening! She has a desire to grow beneficial things. These aspirations coupled with the Covid19 Quarantine of 2020 gave birth to The Back Home Garden! Shelly maintains most of the garden while Leo the Dog patrols the back yard for birds.
